Eviction and foreclosure are deeply traumatic life events that can disrupt a person’s sense of safety, identity, and belonging. For children and adults alike, displacement often triggers symptoms of grief, shame, chronic stress, and even PTSD. This training explores the financial, emotional and psychological toll of housing loss, especially in communities already facing racial, economic, and gender-based systemic injustice.
